Ken Whites Classic Golf Day held at Tiverton Golf Club to launch the new re-brand held at Tiverton Golf Club on the 17th August 2006
The launch of the new brand began at 9.00 am. "Guest speaker Glen King presented a clear and powerful message on "The Power of the Brand" to a 70 strong audience", says Chris White, General Manager Ken Whites. Chris and Martyn Lane (Sales Manager) followed this with a further insight in to the new direction of the company.
The balloon launch at 1.00 pm, saw the start of the golf tournament with 72 golfers taking part in what turned out to be a strongly contested event. The evening that followed included more activity with with prize giving and Adam Isaac providing the entertainment. The final of the putting competition was by moonlight and the day culminated with a charity auction, which combined with other fund-raising activities throughout the day, raised over £3,000 for The Barbara Russell Children’s Ward at Frenchay in Bristol.
“A beautiful and memorable day was experienced by all and as much as the thank you letters are well received it was actually the people who took part that made it so special, displaying the right attitude and spirit throughout. I would like to once again thank everybody who played their part in making it such a success”, quoted Chris White (General Manager).
