LOCAL SIGN COMPANY WINS LLOYD MAUNDER CONTRACT

Ken Whites based in Tiverton has won the contract to supply and apply the new ‘Devonshire Red’ brand to Lloyd Maunders lorry fleet.  A 44’ trailer, which is going to be showcased as part of the new advertising campaign by Lloyd Maunder at the Devon County Show, is the first of a proposed 25 vehicles.  The distinctive branded lorry, heralds the launch of ‘The Devonshire Red’ advertising campaign and, weather permitting, will do a lap of honour around the main ring on Thursday 17 May in front of invited guests, including senior managers of Ken Whites, at the Lloyd Maunder tent to celebrate 50 years in the poultry industry.

Ken Whites, who are celebrating 40 years in 2007, have been working with Lloyd Maunder for over 30 years, at a time when the lorries were still hand sign written in the traditional brown and cream.  The image utilised for vehicle wrapping the trailer is a high-resolution full colour print on self-adhesive vinyl, which in turn is applied to the lorry, and Ken Whites have recently made a major investment in the latest technology for producing this.
