A former media spokesperson for Camelot, Exeter-born Glen King was actively involved in the exciting and historical launch of the National Lottery. She was Deputy Regional Centre Manager for eight years and media spokesperson for Camelot Operators of the National Lottery.

Over a 20 year period, Glen has developed a close working relationship with the South West Media across a full PR mix. This includes radio, television, newspapers, magazines, on-line and social media and digital platforms.

With a high profile in the local business community and a prolific networker, Glen is driven by getting results for her clients and becomes very much a part of the team.

Glen established Glen King PR in March 2005 and since that time has grown the company considerably. In 2015 the company celebrated 10 years' in business and expanded to larger offices in the city-centre. David Greensmith joined the consultancy practice as Business Development Director the same year, increasing the many services offered by the company including photography and a specialist knowledge of the renewable energy sector, which expands on the construction industry services already well established by Glen King PR.


London-born David Greensmith joined Glen King PR, as Business Development Director in the summer of 2015, at the beginning of an exciting new era for the business. Established in 2005, the company celebrated its 10 year milestone with expansion of the team and a move to a larger city-centre office.

With over 40 years’ experience in engineering and construction, David has committed to building on the established reputation and success of Glen King PR, which boasts a diverse portfolio of clients and a specialist knowledge of the construction industry. David brings with him, a vast knowledge of skills and experience in his field of expertise; expanding on the current services the consultancy provides, and introducing clients to the new specialised renewable sector within the business.

In 2012 David, (former head of Aster Energy), orchestrated the founding of Carbon Savings Alliance (CSA) based in Portishead. CSA supported more than 70 Landlords and 800,000 homes, including social housing, local authorities, construction consultants and community groups. The consortium was established with the sole purpose to provide independent advice and support in delivering energy efficiency and carbon reduction to its customers. Since winning the National Award for the Residential Retrofit Project in 2013, David has been working closely with social housing landlords to effectively manage their carbon reduction planning and procedures.

David worked closely with DECC (Department of Energy and Economic Climate Change) to ensure that both social landlords and local authorities meet the challenging energy and carbon targets set by Government.
