Award-winning independently owned restaurant Lloyd’s Kitchen, located close to Exeter Cathedral, celebrated its fifth anniversary with an event for over 80 guests. The contemporary restaurant owned by 29-year old Lloyd Gardner, prides itself on serving delicious modern British food and was named as Express & Echo’s Restaurant of the Year 2016.
Over the last 5 years, in addition to serving breakfast, lunch and dinner to thousands of happy customers, Lloyd’s Kitchen has hosted many corporate and private events. Lloyd has also been a strong supporter of local charities and the business community.

We are a family-run business and have put a huge amount of energy and passion into making this a popular and successful restaurant. When I set out five years’ ago to open Lloyd’s Kitchen, my focus was to provide excellent customer service, fantastic food, and a warm and friendly welcome to customers as soon as they stepped through the door. With the help of my family and dedicated team of staff, we have achieved all of this and more, and I’m looking to continuing this recipe for success as we grow and move forward.”
In 2017, the pioneering restaurateur is launching a new project with the refurbishment of his outside plaza eatery in Catherine Square, currently operating as ‘LTG’s’. Lloyd’s innovative plans are to re-open in summer next year, as a stylish new-look, all-weather café/lounge bar.
